The objectives of the research program "Food and Food Industries" (ALIA) is the improvement of knowledge and the development of tools to promote more sustainable food systems and products affordable to all people, to improve the well- being, health and aging populations.
For this purpose the program revolves texas health springwood around three themes: "For the well-being and healthy aging populations" whose main objective is to improve the quality of life of specific populations and / or vulnerable developing a diet appropriate to their needs. "For a more dynamic economy of food production" whose main objective is to improve the competitiveness of enterprises, improving food and technological routes. "For a balanced society and sustainable development of food production" whose main objective is the development and implementation of tools promoting sustainable food systems (economy, environment, society).
Fund research projects for which the application results in the short or medium-term human or industry is plausible and argued the ALIA program aims. To promote scientific risk-taking, the call for proposals 2010 ALIA encourages the submission of high-risk projects, innovative and multidisciplinary modest size with the aim to evidence of new concepts.
The ALIA program to promote cooperation between the actors of the human diet, the involvement of industrial partners (including SMEs) is highly encouraged. The 2010 call for projects located in the continuity texas health springwood initiated in calls for proposals in 2008 and 2009 activities.
As part of the 2008 and 2009 editions, the axis 1 ALIA program is open to projects of Franco-German cooperation that may be proposed joint funding from the ANR and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
