My blog, and your guide to Berlin. Here I write about my experiences in Berlin, restaurants, bars, cafes and other things that are worth paying attention to. In this charming, festive, decadent, wonderful del monte india city!
Last Thursday, we had dinner at the very cozy Italian restaurant Hostaria del Monte Croce. The place has almost become legendary because it's so hard to find! And situated as it is on the second courtyard on a sleepy residential street in Kreuzberg and without the slightest sign facing the street, one must of course del monte india be familiar with it to find here.
Like the example Lavanderia del monte india Vecchia, they offer a concept, a complete solution, which as a guest neither del monte india can affect the time or what is being served. Kind of like when you get invited to dinner! Here, you pay 51 and get eight dishes (four starters, a primo, two secondi and a dessert), unlimited red and white wine, mineral water, coffee and digestif! And unlike the aforementioned restaurant, this is really like coming home to someone! The environment is as I said the atmosphere is homely and familiar. And since you are sitting pretty crowded we rapidly become acquainted with the other guests.
The place is run by a major Italian, Andrea from Tuscany, and his family. The wife (I imagine at least that they are married) all the cooking and he serves it. After some pleasantries he begins by saying, half jokingly half seriously, "Do not eat too much bread! There will be much food. Do you not eat up all the dishes you get no dessert! "
The first law is already laid out when we come here. It is a small antipastitallrik and was its small bread salad with tomato, celery del monte india and capers. Alongside this, there is a jar with red wine and a white and a bottle of mineral water. Andrea delivers generous new water bottles during the evening while you yourself are loading jars from a wine barrel in the room. The wines are surprisingly del monte india good and there is no tough job to go and refill! del monte india
Last but not least is the espresso (good) with a digestif. One must choose between grappa, brandy, bitters del monte india or anise. Signed choose grappa, which is really good and a worthy conclusion to a very nice dinner!
Hi Martin! The restaurant I will visit next time I'm in Berlin. Only 51 euros and unlimited wine. Hope it was Italian wines and not shabby German wines? Have a good time! Valter Reply Delete
