Bukidnon , being a typhoon-free province, is considered as the food basket in Mindanao. Aside from being a major producer of rice, corn, sugar and banana, food standards agency scotland it is also home to the world's largest pineapple plantation. Owned and operated by the Del Monte Philippines (DMPI), the pineapple plantation located in the town of Manolo Fortich has its own golf course and club house. Lately, Del Monted expanded its operation to the other municipalities of the province including my hometown Malaybalay City . When I joined food standards agency scotland the Run for the Forests trail run last month, part of the race route was this pineapple plantation situated in the inner part of Barangay Casisang.
It was my first time to pass along this road and I was simply awed by the scenery--vast track of pineapple fields food standards agency scotland with mountain ranges on the background. The sight was so refreshing, I just have to slow down my run and take snapshots along the way.
Indeed, running has many rewards. Aside from keeping my body fit, what I love most is the joy in finding new routes. It allows me to discover places and witness some spectacular views which I have never ever seen before.

@ding: yup, its ok to passed through the farm. actually this is also adjacent to the banana plantation of Dole Philippines. Pero hindi ok tumakbo dito kapag nag-spray sila ng chemicals sa mga saging. Yun ang delikado... Reply Delete
Earl, I miss exploring this place becoz of my aching feet that time. It is indeed true that there are a lot more to discover in our very own place. They are just waiting there get explored.
